Darkness Shines Down On Us

Darkness shines down on us.
There is no god here we've lost his trust.
Shattered it like fallen bust due to our endless
Lust for money, power and fame.

We are the real animals kept untamed but if you look
Out you'll see that I'm not the only one ashamed.
We are to blame for this nations drop in economy.
Don't say that we're not cause you're lieing to yourself
And me, Making it seem like we're all living the 

American dream, Making our hearts teem 

With hope but truth is that at sometime
We're all just gonna havta wake up and cope
With the fact that this is reality and sadly
This populations negativity is growing vastly everywhere. 

Families are sitting up crying in these damn
Chairs while the music blares and it feels like
Nobody cares. These are feelings that we all
Share: hatred, anger, jealousy, and agony. 

They all form a painful symphony. 

I hope you see that now because of the lies you told me, 

I'm not gonna sit here and let my
People's deminer shrink.
